Peptides are sensitive biologics. Even brief excursions above recommended storage temperature can accelerate degradation, oxidation, and aggregation. Our cold-chain protocol is designed to maintain lyophilized material at ≤ −20 °C from final QC release until it reaches your freezer.

Shipment configuration

Every order ships in insulated packaging with phase-change panels rated for 48–72 hours of thermal protection at ambient summer conditions. A temperature logger (optional on request) records the internal cavity throughout transit.

Upon receipt

Follow this checklist when material arrives:

  1. Inspect outer shipper for damage or thaw indicators.
  2. Verify batch number against your COA download.
  3. Log receipt temperature if a data logger was included.
  4. Store upright in a dedicated peptide freezer box, away from frost-free cycles.

Long-term storage guidance

Lyophilized research peptides remain stable for 24 months at −20 °C when protected from moisture and light. Reconstitution in bacteriostatic water or sterile diluent should follow the product-specific insert; avoid repeated freeze-thaw of liquid aliquots.

When in doubt, contact our technical support with your batch number — we maintain full traceability from synthesis through dispatch.
